Can you prevent cancer?

Can you prevent cancer?
💦My kids had a PinkOut day at school...everyone knows what pink color represents.

It's great that school does these events, recognitions etc , but that's not enough. Often these events and fundraisers are planned by amazing people, with big and giving hearts, who truly want to help. And they do help with their support.

BUT... it's like pouring water into the bucket that has no bottom.

I am not diminishing what these PINK events stand for.

🍃BUT....
What good does it do to serve food and drinks that cause cancer during these events?
What good does it do to use products filled with fragrance that are known to cause cancer?

Only 5%-10% of cancer is genetic, the rest is your lifestyle (see my previous blog post. If FDA approval means anything to you 'll find a lot info there).

💦THE CHOICES YOU MAKE EVERYDAY is either helping you or killing you!

I know this is a scary topic, many cross their fingers and hope for the best. But hope is not going to help.
We don't get terrible illness over night.
It happens day by day, until it shows it's ugly face to you.

🌟How great would it be to have more events that teach what causes cancer, so we can prevent it as much as possible   ...because it is possible.

💦I know this will ruffle some feathers, but maybe, just maybe it will help even one person to stop and actually think about it. That leads to different life choices in the future.

I simply can't wrap my mind this... we pay for products and food that makes us sick. When I bring it up, I am a crazy one because how dare I talk about it 🤷‍♀️.

Where do you start?
Get rid of all the products that have fragrance/perfume on the ingredient list. That will eliminate hundreds of toxins out of your home and your immune system will do what it's mean to do.

I choose Thieves product line for my home and my family. NO it will not sure cancer. What it replaces a lot of products that have toxic chemicals in them.
Only the best, not cutting corners when it comes to health. We only use products that support our immune system, not weaken it.

Energy + Electrolytes!

Energy + Electrolytes!
We all know that sugar is evil, so I won't even get into that. This image does all the talking for me.

Both of my kids are athletes and they are often encouraged to drink G drink, many believe it to be healthy. But it's just another sugary drink....boooo.

I was looking for a solution that would work for us... it had to be simple to make, cost affective, taste good (kids won't want it otherwise) and be healthy.

Here is what we do:

I have a huge mason jar (8 cups/ 64 oz).
I fill it with filtered water
Add 1-2 scups of Aminowise  and one squirt of Vitality Drops.
Add ice if needed.

Sometimes I drink it right out of the jar. Other times I pre- make it and keep it in the fridge. When kids want a drink, they shake it and pour it over the ice.

These two products are on my monthly subscription order to make sure that I never run our and always have a secret stash :) just in case it goes out of stock for a bit.

Do you know why amino acids are so important?

Amino acids are classified as non-essential amino acids (you produce them on your own), conditionally essential amino acids (can usually be produced by your body), and essential amino acids (EAAs, cannot be made by the body so you must get them through diet or supplementation) Of the EAAs, three are superstars -- the branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs): leucine, isoleucine, and valine. BCAAs make up about 35% of your muscle tissue.

Your ability to maintain, or build lean body mass, or muscle, is based on the levels of protein synthesis and protein breakdown throughout the day. As you age, protein breakdown tends to accelerate. To slow the protein breakdown you can eat more high quality protein and supplement with EAAs.

Because your level of muscle mass plays a significant role in longevity, anything that increases protein synthesis or decreases protein breakdown can support your quality of life throughout your lifespan. Since amino acids play such an essential role in building and maintaining lean body mass, they must be a consistent part of a healthy diet!

Bucket List: Happy & Healthy Life

Bucket List: Happy & Healthy Life
We all want to live a long, happy and healthy life, right? Well these two things go hand in hand. One of my favorite things just happens to be exercising, but it wasn't that way until I found a type of "movement" that I really enjoy. I don't dread going to the gym now, now I consider it my "me time". But there is another thing that the gym gives me, ENDORPHINS! I didn't realize that this is what keeps me going back! I have more energy and focus when I leave.

Endorphins are defined as chemicals the body releases to relieve stress and pain. They are the result of a natural process, and they are better than opioids according to MedicalNewsToday. For years, researchers suspected that endorphins caused the so-called “runner’s high,” a feeling of euphoria that happens after lengthy, vigorous physical activity. However, you don't only experience endorphins from exercise, they are also released when you laugh, experience gratitude, give to others, and eat some dark chocolate!
